About The Superskills Academy Camps
1. Is it a grass pitch or astroturf that they will be training on?
All training will take place on the latest 4G generation artificial grass pitch.
2. What footwear should my child bring?
We recommend moulded rubber stud football boots, Astroturf trainers. No metal studs..
A word of caution. If you decide to buy new boots or trainers spare your yourself the agony of big blisters and have them well broken-in before your camp starts. You will get blisters if you don't wear them in first. Try to bring your old footwear so that they can be changed during the day.
3. What should my child wear?
We ask the players to dressed in all white, shorts, t-shirts and football socks. Shin guards, water and sunscreen. Moulded rubber stud football boots or Astroturf trainers. No metal studs.
4. What language is spoken at the camp?
English is the first language spoken at the camp. Participants don't need to be fluent in English as the learn quickly by playing football and having fun.
5. Who are the participants?
Superskills Academy Camps is open to boys and girls from 8 to 18 years old. Most of the participants are from different European countries and other parts of the world.
6. How are they grouped for training?
Participants are grouped by age and ability. Normally there is 1 coach for every 10-20 students.
About Camp Bookings
1. How do I make a reservation?
You can make a request for a reservation using our ONLINE FORM, sending us an e-mail with your full name, telephone number, e-mail address, age, any special requirements or medical conditions and dates of camps required. once we have received your registration we will confirm the availability.
2. What are your payment terms?
Payment may be made by Bank Transfer from your bank to our bank or via Paypal. Details on how to do this will be e-mailed following receipt of a reservation. There is an initial 25% deposit or 100% of the total payment which is necessary to reserve your camp. Payment in full must be received 4-6 weeks before the stating date. You will receive by e-mail confirmation as soon as the payment is confirmed by our bank.
3. Can I book a camp at the last minute?
In each camp there are a limited number of places, we advise you to book the course as soon as possible. Normally there is availability until the end of May / June but you can also find some places later though perhaps not in the camp or desired dates, as in many cases there are some cancellations. Contact us for more information about availability.
4. What are the cancellation conditions of each camp?
We would prefer you not to make payments until you are certain you will be attending, as full fees cannot be returned or refunded. Where players notify us in writing 14 days prior to your scheduled camp date you will be issued a credit for the next available course with no additional fee or charges but we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on the next session. In this case the next available space will be offered.
5. Do I Need A Medical Insurance?
Those students who are from the European Union won't need any special medical insurance as it will work the same that works in their countries. For those participants from a non European Union country a trip insurance is recommended. These participants will have to have an insurance that covers them while travelling in Europe in case they want to reduce any possible expenses from any medical assistance they may need while in Spain. In that case, a travel insurance is an essential purchase on any overseas trip.
